「Our apartment was very spacious and stylishly decorated, with direct access to the garden and pool. The fridge was stocked with milk, yoghurt, cheese, ham and jams. Every morning, you received bread and a small pastry. However, it might have been nice to have a bit more variety for breakfast. The location was good for us. It’s out of the very centre of Lisbon, but it is located just 10/15 minutes walk away from the old area of Lisbon.」

「We had a great stay overall. The beds were extremely comfortable, and having AC in the rooms made a big difference for a restful night’s sleep. The space itself is beautifully designed, and we really appreciated how the units are set up with enough separation to provide a sense of privacy. Check-in was smooth, with clear and thorough instructions that made everything easy from the start. One thing to note is that the showers are on the smaller side, which might feel a bit tight if you’re taller...

「The apartment is located about 3-4 km from the city center in a rather unfriendly neighborhood. Trash was being stored right under our windows- every morning a garbage truck would arrive and wake us up. The coffee machine was assembled from mismatched parts, making it impossible to actually fit a cup underneath. On the plus side, the white towels were soft. Also, be aware that the apartment requires a security deposit; it took five days for us to receive the refund.」

「Although the rooms are quite small, Pousada Alfama is reasonably priced, well maintained, and well located near the water. Their breakfasts are excellent! And the staff are friendly and helpful. Best rooms are on floor 2 and above….those on 1 have no view.」

「Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and neat and had an air conditioning unit. The location is in a good area with lots of interesting restaurants, wine bars and coffee shops if you are willing to explore some of the side streets. it is also very quiet in the evenings. There is a metro stop just south of the hotel and a grocery store next door. Very nice stay overall」

「The room is quite old and does not match the advertised photos. There were many issues, including a leaking bathroom tap that caused extremely low water pressure. In addition, the television, cooker hood, one of the air conditioners, and several lamps were all out of order. We raised these issues, but due to the year-end period, no one came to repair them, and no alternative rooms were available. It was a very unpleasant stay and completely ruined our trip. It was absolutely not worth the money...
