Although as advocated as a the only 4 star hotel in Koufonisia, it represents nothing what a 4 star hotel should be.
Firstly, the Hotel is not on the beach, as it is pointed out on Google Maps so no nice sea views from the Hotel.
Secondly, the photograhic brochure of the rooms is not match by the in locco presence, the first room shown was very mouldy and the second one extremely kitsch with outdated decor and bathroom facilities. Finally was offered a suite (for part of the stay only!) at an extra cost the cost was reasonable but ounce again the quality of room looked like a botched job - I have to say the suite mattress was good - not close to the photos you see on the website.
Thirdly, for a so called only 4 star hotel in the island, it lacks basic 4 star facilities... such as good showers and toilette facilities, complimentary toiletries in all the rooms (not just in the suite), air conditioning (yes it stopped working in the suite!), good quality decoration and finishing, internet wifi connectivity service throughout the facilities, to mention a few.
Fourthly, the staff where very attentative and kind, always looking to help their guest either suggesting a taverna to eat, a special location to visit, ... unfortunately I cannot say the same of the front desk staff...
The only interesting area is the swimming pool but as I said before, there are no nice views from it.
Although it was renovated in 2006 - see their website description - maybe it's time for a 2015 renovation...
