It's a shame this property is leased through Winning Holidays, because the property itself is quite nice. Its an updated beachy apartment in a good location. It was missing basics such as hand soap, salt and pepper, etc which we had to purchase ourselves. Cleanliness was not great: the BBQ was absolutely FILTHY so we didn't bother, the couches & throws are grubby, but the worst thing was finding crusty white stains on the inside of the doona. Really disgusting.
As for our experience with Winning Holidays: COULD NOT BE WORSE! I was called a few days before check-in and told their system had an error so our payment didn't go through. We paid & I sent an email with proof of payment, also asking for check in instructions. I hear nothing. I continue to send emails & get no answers. Days go by and now we are due to check in. I call their office multiple times: NO ANSWER. I leave voicemails asking for someone to call me back: NO ANSWER. Finally at 2.30 we get an email saying check in from 3pm and a text with an address to collect keys!! We BARELY make it to their office before closing! 5 people behind the desks, unfriendly, claiming their phones don't work. We get a key and an address (no unit number). The key has 218 written on it: UNITS ONLY GO UP TO 20! We try keys on units 2, 17 and 18: NONE WORK. No after-hours number to be found! I race back to their office with 1min spare to get another set of keys. HORRIBLE, STRESSFUL START TO A HOLIDAY. I recommended you book elsewhere.
