“Lovely place! Felt safe and very private. Nicely furnished with comfy beds and a luxurious shower. Nice area by the river to walk. Amazing deck with a beautiful view. Convenient drive to Bardstown or a little further to the caves. Was able to get on 5g internet fine, no need to worry. I will note, it’s at the bottom of a pretty steep hill and I worry my Camry would have struggled in the rain or snow, but we had good weather. Just noting it might be a 4-wheel drive trip. ”

“The Captain’s Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)…. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captain’s Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie……

“Lodge was beautifully decorated. All the rooms were well appointed. Open concept kitchen, dining, living room was great for adult family gathering. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, sitting on front porch, and grill. Great location for doing the Bourbon tours.”
