What a lovely property! Really enjoyed our week-long stay. The cabin is a perfect blend of historic with modern amenities. It came with everything you need except the food! Tim and Lynn were just lovely and we enjoyed meeting them. The kids enjoyed seeing the horses. The property is spacious and beautiful. We would definitely come back for another stay!

We were two couples exploring the Bourbon trail between Louisville and Lexington. We enjoyed our stay at this historic hilltop retreat. Furnishings are comfortable. Main floor bathroom is not connected to the bedroom. We did not cook, but kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed sunny evenings on the large porch. Our host lives next door and was very responsive.

We had the best time in this cozy welcoming cabin for our family to spend Thanksgiving together. Lynn and Tim are great hosts and went above and beyond to take care of our family. Everything was beautiful and very well stocked and equipped -we didn’t need anything! Our grandsons loved the bunk beds and the swings and Lynn even called out their horses so the boys could feed them some carrots! Thanks so much for a perfect stay!

Log cabin stay

We have rented several times with Vrbo and I have to say that this was the best experience we’ve had. The owner actually greeted us when we arrived and offered to assist with anything if we needed anything, then communicated with us every day of our stay just to sure we were okay. For anyone looking for a quiet getaway and likes a little history this place is excellent we will definitely be back!

Our family really enjoyed staying in this unique log house property. Lots of history with all the creature comforts of modern times. The kids loved the cowboy themed bunk room filled with fun toys. Had a great stay at this home for the PGA championship. Home was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Property was peaceful and beautiful and would be great for families with kids. Hosts Tim and Lynn were amazing! Highly recommend!
