「It was really special to stay in Nelson’s Dockyard. We stayed in the lofts and it was very relaxing. Only downside is the walls are paper thin (old building, I should have expected this) so bring ear plugs or a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper! Restaurants were great at the hotel and the area is very walkable. There’s a complimentary boat to take you to Galleon Bay, which was a really nice beach.」

「location was hard to find as you have to use the location given in Expedia. Place was in a nice quiet location. Areas of improvement: sink water was running very very very slowly. Need sink replaced. Toilet would run more often on the second/third day and having to manually hold the stopper down was too much. WiFi was spotty which could have been due to the location. Scenery was beautiful, management was responsive and helpful. Parking is also scarce. I would book again as a 5:6:7th option for...

「Me and my partner had a great time staying here. Each room having its own plunge pool was a plus. The rooms were clean and cozy. We had tiny lizard visitor which was cool. The hotel however is very far from everything. We rented a car and traveled to many breaches and the city. The distance also is what made the place special. Very secluded and intimate. So depending on your preference it may or may not work. There were plenty visitors who never left the hotel. We didn’t utilize the public pool...

The food was really good with specials each night. Not having to worry about making reservations made our vacation very relaxing.
