Cute place, needs a sheet and towel upgrade

This is a cute little condo and we liked the location and the little neighborhood and walking access to the beach. It was light and bright and quiet. The linens need an upgrade: bedsheets were stained and felt well-used, some towels were stained. Pet hair on bed linens and pillows. But overall it was a cute little place that served our simple needs.

Very Cute!

It was nicely furnished and the location was perfect. It could have been cleaner. The details were missed: corners, under the bed, corners of shower floor….but overall very nice!

Sufficient, but dirty

The location was pretty good, since it is so close to the beach. We were hoping for cleanliness, but the floors did not seem to have been cleaned at all. There was a lot of sand, dog hair and other droppings from previous guests. The bathroom also had some surfaces that had been overlooked. We did not use the stove to cook because the range-hood didn't vent anywhere other than the cabinet overhead.

Clean, quiet and perfect for kids.

This place was perfect for my family. We have 2 little girls that loved the bunk bed and the fire place. It was a nice light for them. Easy walk to beach and the hose outside of the building was very convenient for washing sand off feet and shoes. Be sure to take a walk to Proposal rock in early am tide. We found a star fish on the rock.

Cute little condo!

Condo was cute and the price was right. Wish we’d have picked one of the places with a view though. Maybe enough coffee for the first morning pot and a box of Kleenexes would be a nice touch. End tables in the living area were a bit wobbly… maybe just a matter of tightening screws? Other than that it was quite comfortable for the two of us.

Cute and cozy

Perfect cozy rental for one or two people. Close to the beach. Not ocean view but you can hear the ocean from inside with the windows open. These condos are older but well maintained with property manager onsite who is attentive and keeps the property grounds up very well.

Lackluster

I think there is a lot to improve upon in terms of cleanliness, communication and follow through. When we arrived, there was no toilet paper, the towels in the bathroom and our pillow cases on the bed were soaking wet and there was sand on the night stands and side tables. I immediately called and text to get the toilet paper and towel issue remedied and the person I spoke with was not friendly. She told me that someone would be there shortly with toilet paper and new towels. After us leaving and going to dinner and coming back (3 hours later because the nearest town is 15-20 miles away), both had not been fixed. I then had to call again and they said a ticket had been created but that they would reach out again to get us toilet paper but that towels wouldn’t be until the next day. The local guy brought us toilet paper and when we mentioned the towels and pillow cases, he said no one told him about those. When we handed them to him, he was shocked with how wet they were. He said he would bring more the next day (Saturday) and we never received any new towels. Thankfully, there were two semi dry ones in the bathroom that we could use. The house needs cleaning and updating as well. There is a knob on a cabinet in the bathroom that kept falling off and there are many areas that need new paint where there has been water damage. Our stay was fine, but started rough and frustrating. It’s hard for me to want to recommend Vacasa to anyone with how our trip started, the lack of online support and the lack of attention to care and basic amenities.

Great property, bad cleaning company

I loved everything about this place except that the primary bed was made as if it was clean, but had sand, dirt and hair all over inside and outsides of the sheets and pillowcases. Given that, I would maybe come back because I like the location so much.

Nice condo, not much more

This unit is, as advertised, about a block from the ocean. It’s an easy 5-minute walk to beach access. The unit is clean and well cared for, though small. We were, however, surprised by the lack of expected staple items, particularly in the kitchen. There is an oven and a small Pyrex pan, but no baking tray. There are a few scratched up skillets and some spoons/spatulas, but not many, and are very few silverware to use, so plan to wash and reuse constantly. If you plan to cook I would recommend bringing everything you need. There was salt but no pepper, and no other spices, cooking oils, etc. The bathroom is very nice and clean, but the towels feel like they belong in a cheap hotel—even one step up would make a huge difference. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would likely stay elsewhere next time.

Very Nice

We had a really nice time. We brought our two pups and it went really well. There is a lot of area for them to do their business. The condo was nice and clean. I would suggest some hooks in the bathroom and there was only the one loveseat to sit on, but we did fine. I'd return with our pups again.

Loved location

If you want a quiet, sleepy beach town on the beautiful Oregon coast Neskowin is it. Located so close to Lincoln City (not quiet, not sleepy) and not far from Newport it was perfect. That’s location - Neskowin. This unit has no beach view. Located at bottom end of back building on the property, it was ideal for pottying our dog - areas right outside doors (2). Easy quick walk to huge rocked embankment where you can sit on top rocks and watch sunsets over ocean. In putting in bunk beds (assume to up the sleeping capacity, they have dramatically reduced the comfort in the living/great room area. One small couch is seating. For a couple wanting to relax to watch tv it wasn’t comfortable. Fortunately we spent little daytime/eves in unit. There have been problems with cleanliness in this unit. Property managers are concerned as they inquired mid-stay about it. Generally very clean but the drip pans under burners were solid burn. Communicated that to them - easy fix, just replace them. Bet they are now shiny metal!
