"This was my first and last time staying at the Luxor. The hotel is known for its legacy and is visibly beautiful but the rooms needs updating and some major TLC. My first room had some questionable substances on the walls and nightstands that had me scared to stay there. Not to mention it was a handicap accessible room and I didn't book that. I called guest services to change rooms. I was then placed in another room which was a little cleaner than the one prior but still similar situation where I had stains on the walls. This room even had the framing from the door coming apart. I felt comfortable enough to stay overnight but I immediately checked out the following morning and did not continue the remainder of my stay there. All the staff I encountered during this time were super kind and accommodating but the hotel needs a deep clean."

"Check in was easy since everything can be done on the kiosk. All you need is the booking confirmation number, your ID and credit card. The property is gigantic. I booked this stay for a wedding, they were able to put me up in a room close to my party (which booked separately). Thanks to the front desk staff — they were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and had an amazing view of the Vegas strip. The casino has got a lot of different slot machines as well as table games; many options to choose from."
