「Very friendly staff, nice location off the beaten path but walking distance to lots. Bright rooms. Good breakfast.」

「Logistically superb - lots of walks, beach, at low tide you can go rock pooling etc. Bus stop right outside - which when the weather isn't great is a useful option to get around. There are small bus routes that loop certain areas - and you get a running commentary so worth jumping on. Hotel is fabulous - views are amazing, food is delicious, and good value, room were exceptional (you must like the sound of the sea) and the staff are kind, informative and go above and beyond. 」

「the resort is undergoing major renovations and we were warned about this beforehand. All the leisure facilities were close but the grounds are lovely. We hope they keep the family cottages once the renovations are complete.」

「Great place to stay. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Very dog friendly and comfortable. A few dog rules but nothing out of ordinary - Easy to abide by. Car park to rear. Bedroom was clean and well equipped. Bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast choice good. Presented well and very tasty. We also had a very good experience of restaurant meal in the evening. Some wall/ floor areas in the place were knocked and marked but its a bar/restaurant so some wear and tear is expected from customer...

「Great place to stay in heart of Christchurch, overlooking the cathedral. The renovations are beautiful, giving a relaxing, arty vibe in which to relax, with a high standard of decor.
