The house was perfect. It is very clean, very well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was also very clean. It was to cold to use the gas fire pit but was a great set up. Communication was prompt and informative. Will definitely be back to experience the bourbon trail!!!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very clean, well stocked, and felt comfortable. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out between the upstairs living room and downstairs game area and plenty of TVs. Located centrally to many of the various attractions in the area.

This home is beautiful! It is exactly a described in the VRBO listing. It was perfect for our group. Spotless in every room of the house. The hosts are absolutely amazing! Wonderful communicators. We had no issues with anything but they checked in just in case

We were a group of five friends visiting the Bourbon Trail, and this was the perfect place to stay. The location made it easy to hit so many distilleries—Castle & Key, Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, and Whiskey Thief were some of our favorites—as well as explore the town of Frankfort.The hosts were fantastic, with great communication and thoughtful recommendations that helped us make the most of our trip. The house itself is amazing—clearly a lot of care has gone into every detail. There were so many little amenities that made our stay even better, from hair dryers to spices, extra towels, and more. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the deck and wrapping up the evenings grilling, sharing stories, and sipping bourbon together.Couldn’t have asked for a better spot—highly recommend this home if you’re planning a Bourbon Trail adventure!

This was a great house. Clean, very much as advertised. We had no issues, and the hosts were very attentive and answered questions very quickly. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to navigate. We would stay again.

Great place

10 of us stayed here for a bourbon trail trip. Very clean and lots of space for all of us. Hosts were very attentive with answering messages. Everything was perfect from check in to checkout. Would highly recommended this place.

Amazing location

We really enjoyed this well kept up and beautiful little gem in the heart of bourbon territory. This was such a good location for us. We did about two distilleries in one winery per day. The house itself is just as it is in the pictures. Everything was well-maintained and in perfect condition. Each room was fantastic and comfortable. We really enjoyed the fire pit at night and probably spent at least two hours per day in the hot tub. This location is also near a super Walmart and some other shopping areas within 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this house for a family or, like what we did, a few guys wanting to test out the area. Communication was fantastic with the owners. They responded very quickly and helped with all issues and questions we had. I will definitely look for this next time we visit the area.

Boys Weekend

The Bourbon Barrel Hot Tub Getaway hit the mark for a weekend with friends from high school in the early 1980s. We played old video games from back in the day, watched College World Series games on large tvs, cooked great meals in a well equipped kitchen and slept off too much bourbon in fantastic beds!! If you are doing the bourbon trail, stay here!!

Fantastic Home with Everything You Need!

Stayed here for 2 days with friends. The kitchen is stocked with all you need. Comfy beds, lots of extras right down to shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! Would stay in this great location again! Thank you!!

Exceptional Home

You could not ask for a more enjoyable stay. The hosts thought of every detail to make our visit comfortable and memorable. The house was immaculate. The bedrooms were lovely, with carefully chosen linens. The kitchen was amazing, fully stocked with appliances and abundant dinnerware. The living room and game room were wonderful. But truly it is the incredible hosts that set this house apart. They are welcoming, thoughtful and responsive . You will absolutely have a 5 star experience, just like we did.

Our Bourbon Trail Adventure

There is a group of us who travels at least twice a year – and we’ve stayed in many different houses in many different locations. I have to say, this is the first time we’ve had hosts who were so on top of things, cared so much about our visit, and answered all our questions in a timely manner.Everything was within a 15 or 20 minute drive so it’s very convenient to everything.The house itself – cleaner than any hotel room! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. They did not skimp on anything that’s for sure. We would definitely stay there again and highly suggest it to anyone. We lovingly called it our Jetson’s Vacation Home!

Our Bourbon Distilleries/Horse Farms

Centralized to most Bourbon Distilleries that we went to. Home very nice. Looks just like pictures on web site. Our group enjoyed the large kitchen/dining room. Plenty of room for everyone.

Perfect weekend bourbon tour home base

This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening after a full day of bourbon tastings. The hot tub, fire pit and ax throwing were great ways to enjoy the outdoors, and the nightowls in our group had a blast in the game room. Would definitely recommend staying here.

5 star property

The house was immaculate and very warm a cozy. After visiting the local distilleries we came back and enjoyed games of poker and video games provided with lots of fun. Beds were comfortable. Appliances were very nice with plenty of cookware. House was on a fairly busy street but sat back from the road so there was no noise at all. Hope to come back again!
