Escape to our charming vacation home nestled in the heart of an old growth forest, just moments from downtown New buffalo. Seamlessly blending privacy with proximity, the cottage at new buffalo offers the best of both worlds. We are set far enough away from Route 12 to hear any traffic.

Our home is your own personal oasis. Gather around the crackling fire pit with circular seating to enjoy s’mores under the starlit sky. Or, on another side of the property, a circle of adirondack chairs allows friends and family to watch you show off your cooking skills on the gas barbecue grill.

On yet another side of the house, your private hot tub awaits for day time fun or relaxing, evening cocktails under the stars. (Enjoy peace of mind knowing our hot tub cleaning service visits just before you check-in.)

Inside, the Cottage at New Buffalo welcomes you with an open-concept design, seamlessly connecting the kitchen, living area and dining table.

On the first floor, there’s one comfortable bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a twin-sized bed and a second bedroom, “the Bunk Room,” with a twin/full bunk bed and a twin/twin bunk bed. A full bathroom with shower/tub separates the two bedrooms.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom features a vaulted ceiling with fan and a charming two-person, screened-in balcony. The primary bathroom features a large jacuzzi tub, a spacious walk in shower, and dual sinks and vanities, ensuring relaxation at every turn.

The deck wraps around three sides of the home and is screened-in on two sides. One screened-in side faces the gas grill and its round seating area. The other screened side overlooks the "front" of the property and the fire pit. The open-air side of the deck features a round dining table, lounge chairs for sunning and the hot tub.

Our community pool is a very short stroll from our doorstep, but far enough from pool noise. Dive into crystal-clear waters and soak up the sun on the poolside lounge chairs.

For those seeking a bit of friendly competition, we've got you covered with our bags setup. Gather your family and friends for a spirited game of cornhole while you master the grill. We set it up “behind” the house, a fourth seating area, with an ice bucket.

On the deck, you’ll find 4 tailgate chairs (with over-the-shoulder carrying straps) for you to take to the beach. Don't pack beach towels. We have them for you in the Bunk Room. New Buffalo's beautiful beach is at the end of Whitaker Road and has public parking. Don’t forget the other nearby amazing Lake Michigan beaches! The Indiana Dunes are just 30 minutes away and absolutely worth a visit.

We're happy to provide most of the common necessities including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, aluminum foil, garbage bags and some condiments.
