“Very nicely renovated house. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Large comfy living and dining room. Very responsive hosts. Only suggestion would be to provide a few more hooks in the bathrooms for guests to hang personal things (night clothes, used towels, etc.). I would highly recommended this place.”

“I rented Anna’s beautiful home for my son’s wedding weekend. It was the perfect house for entertaining immediate family for wedding preparations and activities! We enjoyed a barbecue out in the backyard overlooking the mountains the night before with the fire roaring in the natural firepit on the patio. “Our group of 4 couples enjoyed our stay. It is pet friendly and some in our group did have allergies to the previous pet dander. It was generally clean but needed an air purifier for previous smells like cigarettes not an air freshener. The oven and stove were not very user friendly but we did eventually figure it out. Overall it is a nice home and was a good size for our group.”

“This house is located minutes from the highway making it easy to get to. Its a very scenic and country area so you feel farther away then you are. The house is extremely clean and well appointed it sits up high on a hill so you can enjoy the veiw of the country house across the street which has a small creek and gardens to enjoy theres even a pool to enjoy in summer months and a fire pit .this house was peaceful and perfect for the quick weekend getaway that we all needed. “From the moment we came we felt right at home! Such a comfortable place to stay! Every morning we were greeted by a beautiful bald eagle on the lake as well as the chitter chatter of birds. For those who have a hard time climbing stairs, this is NOT the place for you. Bedrooms as well as bathrooms are not on the main level. No matter we would definitely want to stay again!”

“Overall we had a nice stay but there are a few things that future guests should be aware of and some improvements I feel are needed to make the stay more comfortable. Pros: The house was very clean. Beds are very comfortable!! Rooms are a good size and the living room had a cozy fireplace with blankets for many to enjoy. Updates to the kitchen and bathrooms were modern and nice. Kitchen has many pots and pans and cooking utensils stocked and there is a K cup coffee maker and a regular one……

“The neighborhood was clean, upscale, and beautifully kept. It came with Candlewood Beach access. The second story suite was gorgeous, clean, and well apportioned. The bed was comfortable. The whole house was well maintained and a wonderful,"homey" feel to it. The Hostess was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. The house is on the hillside leading to Lake Candlewood. As can be imagined, the views from the windows were outstanding.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Squantz Cottage. Property was well maintained, clean, and convenient. Parking at the cottage can be a little tricky backing out and getting on to the road. An option to park at the main house could be helpful. I would definitely rent again!”

“We came for a girls weekend. The house is beautiful with plenty of comfy seating. Super clean. The view is beautiful and fun to watch all the boaters. We could not get fire pit to work, but this could have been user error. I would caution others that the stairs are a lot! Definitely not for elders and a real workout, but this was clearly stated in description. Otherwise an absolute dream house with plenty of space. The attention to detail and decor (especially in the bathrooms) was appreciated!……
