「The main building where I stayed was nice but my daughter stayed in the other building where the rooms for larger families stay. That building is disgusting. It is so worn down. The concrete in the common areas outside the room is chipped and broken. The doors to enter the rooms were so worn down and filthy. The elevator was disgustingly dirty and the stairs were the same and smelled like urine. I don’t understand how the two buildings are so drastically different in the way they are taken...

「Hotel was great, and right on the beach. Loved that it allowed dogs! Only negative was that I couldn’t sit on the balcony to enjoy the ocean view because the room next door was chain smoking and it allowed dogs blew over. Not a fault of the hotel, but definitely made it not as great. Tried enjoying coffee on the balcony…nope」

「The hotel had easy access to the beach and has a pool, there’s a bar right by the pool and coffee bar right in the lobby. It’s so convenient. They don’t have a lot of garage parking but there’s parking uncovered. The staff is great at the front desk, housekeeping, the shuttle service. I will say the food onsite for breakfast wasn’t bad, but the wait staff was not as friendly. The room was very clean. All in all it was such a great trip! They do have a resort charge $30/night, so just keep that...

「I liked that it was quiet, despite being in the midst of a touristy area, and I liked that it was close to the Wildlife Boat Ramp, where I was meeting my charter boat each morning.」

「During our stay, the elevator was completely out of service, and we had to climb the stairs many times. In the breakfast room, one of the younger waiters had a very bad attitude and was extremely slow, except for one staff member who was fine. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud. If you’re not a heavy sleeper, I really wouldn’t recommend staying here—you’ll feel like you’re sleeping on a train all night.」
