「My husband and I stayed for one night during the week and had the entire hotel to ourselves. The hotel was built in 1868 and has lots of history to read about with displays throughout the building. Our room, the bridal suite, was so cute and cozy. It was very convenient for us because it was across from the train station, and we used the Amtrak train to travel to Hermann. 「This is our second stay at this beautiful property. We rang in the New Year at Mandolin Ridge and it was beautiful. We were greeted with the birth of two baby goats which was quite auspicious. The home is spacious and like going to a comfortable, beautifully appointed museum. Each room has hidden delights. A feast for the eyes indeed. The host, Loribeth, is considerate and warm as well detail oriented. It is clear she wants to provide excellence! Mandolin Ridge and Loribeth really deliver.」

「Rustic, spacious, good outdoor areas, peaceful private lake, well equipped. Nearby neighbors but not intrusive. Had weather cooperated better it would have been an ideal setting for our retreat.」
