Staff at the front desk one of the ladies working on Friday afternoon was very rude. I Will not be returning, the room looked like a motel room not a hotel room. I had to stay at this hotel for the St Patrick’s parade.Otherwise would have definitely stayed at the Ritz Carlton.

When you pull up the property looks great. Check in went smooth then we got to our room. Upon getting to our room the bottom of the door and the threshold had a 1/2 inch gap between the two that we had to use a towel to cover so no bugs would get in. Then you look at the door and you could see day light through the door that had cracks in the wood. The curtains that they had in the room had giant holes in them, not sure if a previous caretaker tried to iron them and left the iron on too long but they were big. The sink would fill up quickly with water and take thirty minutes to drain so some times we had to wash our hands by turning on the bathtub. Finally we get to the mold that was showing through the paint in the corners of the room. I would not wish my worst enemy to stay at this hotel and can’t believe it was on Expedia. You can tell they have put layers of paint on everything and were trying to fix the place up but if they were to do it right they should shut down to gut and replace what needs to be fixed instead of putting bandaids on.

Clean, safe spacious, great breakfast for a fee. The best place to enjoy Mardi Gras. The parades come right by. Free street parking as well. There are many good restaurants nearby and one on site.

The beds were comfortable; elevators were in working order. Breakfast was good, but not included. All the staff we spoke to were courteous and helpful. Our room was clean, but there was a dead roach in the bathroom. Our tv speaker crackled, and the connection kept glitching. The restaurant next door is good, and access to the streetcar is excellent. There is a pool, and nice courtyard seating areas. We would stay here again.

Perfect location for us between the French Quarter and the universities. Traveled for admissions tour at Tulane/Loyola and found the hotel charming, immediately across from the streetcar ($7 for three of us to ride all day) with dining options across the street in a quiet and calm neighborhood. Spacious comfortable room and very friendly and helpful staff.

The room had way too much furniture in it that it made it uncomfortable to move around the room. The morning staff was nice, the evening staff was rude. No jets on the hot tub, but it was the hottest hot tub I've ever been in. $25 a night to park, we just parked on the street for free and it was closer than their 2nd parking lot when the first was full.

The king room was a nice size and comfortable with lots of pillows and desk for working. It was clean but I did find a few things on floor when I moved the chair. The staff quickly brought a new hair dryer when I discovered mine didn’t work. My only complaint is that they don't have secure wifi.

All the staff we met were excellent. Housekeeping could have done a little better about making sure the floors were swept and we had enough towels and washrags for the ones in our room Tyrant was exceptional. He made my grandbabies feel part of the group and that they were special.

Security during Mardi Gras was my top concern, and this hotel made sure all entries including both parking lots were secured. The location was convenient, walking to French quarter was doable when street cars don’t run (due to parades). Plenty of great restaurants around. The room was modern and quite big. Not sure why they put a fridge and microwave inside a closet, which means you can’t really hang more than 2-3 dresses. It can be noisy as you can hear everything outside.

I booked this hotel room for the Friday before Mardi Gras. The room was stifling hot. I adjusted the thermostat and the temperature stayed elevated. This is a third floor walk up hotel room with no phone line or way to contact the front desk. I informed the desk three separate times that the air conditioning was not working. A maintenance worker showed up the first time, questioned where the AC unit was located, then made a call to “reset” the system. The room never cooled off. I made two more requests to have the room looked at, but no other maintenance person showed up. After then sweating throughout the night, I took at shower and discovered there was also no hot water in this room. The night was miserable! I would suggest this as a do not book hotel.
