We rented this unit for almost 4 weeks. It’s a good unit in a quiet area. At first glance, the unit is just beautiful. How could anyone resist higher end furniture and amenities? There are a ton of thoughtful things in the unit that adds a bit of “home” to your stay, too. The unit was cleaned and felt very kept. The beds were comfortable. Mark was also quick to respond to questions and seemed professional the limited amount of times we spoke. The shower was wonderful. :)Unfortunately, as you lived in the unit, you noticed the lack of maintenance. As we initially went to get glasses or dishes, it was almost like the dishes weren’t washed but maybe just rinsed and put in the cabinets. So, as the stay continued, we just made sure to wash everything before we used it. 9 days of loud construction outside of balcony. The coffee maker leaked so much coffee that you could fill up a coffee cup and then some before it ran out. There are a ton of high end kitchen tools but no can opener. Weird. There are beach chairs and beach toys to use, but they were pretty much broken. The dishwasher door had broken springs. The water filter in the fridge was clogged. The rubber gasket on the garbage disposal is loose (you watch the little blades spin) and is a little alarming. The kitchen sink leaks if it isn’t just “right.” Don’t book for at least 2 months because there is more construction next door. Couldn’t use pool due to loud, gawking workmen.No more room to write. :(
