“We couldn’t find a way to turn the heat on. Tried the radiator and it didn’t work. So we went without heat the whole trip ”

“Stayed for 5 nights. The air filter was absolutely polluted with dust, it looked like it hasn’t been changed in a year. Our son got an allergic reaction to the dust and had to take him to the ER during our stay. One of the beds did not have a comforter which we reported upon arrival. We were told for 3 straight days that it would be delivered and was not. It was finally delivered as we were checking out. I am a work traveler and have seen it all but the service and cleanliness were way below……

“We spent 2 nights for a girl’s weekend and had a great time. Great location with a big porch and gorgeous view of the lake. The check-in process was super easy and we had good comminication with the host. Beds were comfortable and there were extra sheets for the futons. We were also able to bring our dog which was great. My only suggestion would be to add more pots/pans for cooking and maybe a rug for snowy shoes at the entrance. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone! ”

“The kitchen was the least equipped; it was missing a microwave and the coffee maker was only for pod coffee, which made it difficult to make a morning latte. There is also no laundry, but Liz helps you find everything, so that the stay is very comfortable. Beyond that, the excellent rating is because Liz really helps you with whatever you need. She is very attentive. I found the apartment in perfect condition. I was told bad things about the area, but honestly I had no issues at all.”

“Such a fantastic stay! Very warm welcome by Alex the host, the spaces were better than the photos. We had everything we needed in the unit to have a pleasant stay in Brooklyn. It felt like home. The neighborhood is quiet and residential with a great bodega just on the corner and nearby grocery stores. We cooked several evenings and it was easy to do it. We did not bring a car - it's about 5 minutes from the closest bus and 20 minutes walking from the closest subway station. If you plan to visit……

“The best thing about the apartment is its location. It's in a nice neighborhood, very picturesque and close to downtown Manhattan. As for the apartment itself, it's small but comfortable for two or three people, and everything works perfectly. Keep in mind that you have to climb three flights of stairs, which can be tough if you're tired from walking around the city. Otherwise, it's impeccable. ”

“I felt like I was being hosted in a family member's home versus just being a customer. It was absolutely perfect and so adorable. I hope to make it back one day and will stay here again. Privacy without being in the middle of nowhere made it all the better. Big BIG thanks to the owners, you made us feel right at home. ”

“The location was great. Guys the hot water doesn’t work. I wish I would have read the reviews more thoroughly. You will take cold showers for the time you are staying here. The price was great but I would’ve paid more for a hot shower. The pictures make the bathroom look bigger than it is. It is tiny. No more than one person at a time can fit. The apartment is really not big enough to fit more than probably two adults or two adults and one child. The pillows had yellow stains on them. You can’t……
