room was okay - the mattress on the bed is super thin. Not something I really expected from a 4 star hotel. The water pressure in the shower was extremely high, and the only water temperatures for the shower were 10/10 scolding, 7/10 hot, and then 1/10 arctic circle freezing. Some equipment in the gym was broken so basically only had dumbbells and cardio machines. the wifi in the room was also very spotty on my phone but worked better on laptop

Called the desk and was offered really no solution or anything. the person on the phone offered absolutely no help and said he could change my room. La ubicacion del Hotel muy buena. Reservamos una habitacion para 4 personas con dos camas la cual resulta muy pequeña para la cantidad de personas y el equipaje. Colchones de camas en condiciones regulares y mobiliario con deficiencias. Lo que si hay que mencionar es la atencion del personal, siempre muy amables y serviciales. Especialmente en el area de desayunos ya que fuimos muy bien atendidos por Fernando el cual se destaca por satisfacer las necesidades de nosotros como clientes.

The Hayden was thé worst experience of a so called hotel I have ever had in my life. I felt mislead by Expedia and the hotel as this was rated a 4 star hotel, but didn’t have any working heating in the hotel. When I asked why it was so cold in the hotel when I checked in, the employee at the front desk told me it was only cold because the door opens and closes all the time but that the rest of the hotel was heated well. After going to my room, I found there was no heat, and cold air my blowing in my room and the temperature was 13 degrees Celsius in my hotel room when the temperature outside was -9 Celsius outside. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed, there were plastic on the bed and it felt like we were sleeping on plastic garbage bags. The bedsheets had dark stains and mold was found in the bathroom. We called after checking in to complain about the room a wanting a resolution to the problem and a refund but we were told no rooms were available and no manager on site to make any complaints but they could give us a space heater as a solution but could not get a full refund. We had to sleep in our hotel room with our clothes and winter jackets as they don’t have comforters on the beds and use 3 thin sheets as a comforter. This has been my worst hotel experience were I would usually lean on a big company like Expedia for hotel recommendations but learned quickly that the 4 start hotel we booked was closer to a 2 and a half star motel. Stay away from this hotel.
81 degrees on thermostat when we walked in the room, but it was broken and actually below 50 degrees ferenheit in the room.

Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Had a little problem with the heat but the front desk staff were fabulous in response and went above and beyond to correct. Easy access to subway and nearby breakfast options were great. Overall a great Midtown spot and a great value.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. We did have an issue with our heat in the room not working, but they had maintenance up to our room within 20 minutes to fix it. My only issue is the breakfast. It’s not much of a breakfast but just assorted muffins and pastries.
