The room was TINY, there is an office building right next door and the blinds are SHEER so you can see everything and if anyone is in there office and wants to look at your room they can. I just needed a night out of the house so it wasnt a bug deal for me but if you are looking for privacy, space or luxury stay then i would re consider.

I would not recommend this if you are looking for a luxury stay. We decided to upgrade our stay to the “executive” king room, to find the room was similar to that of a standard room at any other hotel. We were placed on the third floor with a direct view of the balcony below, along with a direct view into a working office. You could see into the office from the bed. I guess I expected more for paying more money for the executive room, but knowing what I know now I wouldn’t have. The common spaces weren’t the cleanest (other guest trash scattered around), and the rooms had minimal care. The rooms were clean, but the windows were filthy and things were broken. We called down around midnight to get more blankets to be told to go down and get them ourselves from the desk. The worker at the desk never had me sign a form when checking in, and told me to come down later to sign it. Wouldn’t say it was an executive experience, but definitely a place to rest my head.

The staff was very nice and helpful however, the room that we booked had no wifi connection. We were unable to make or receive calls and text messages. The staff moved us to another room ( downgraded). The manager later make up for our dissatisfaction, in the end we were satisfied with the outcome.

Un séjour parfait au cœur du Financial District ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nous avons passé 5 jours fantastiques au FIDI Hôtel avec un couple d'amis et nous ne pouvons que le recommander. Voici ce que nous avons particulièrement aimé : * Le calme absolu : C'est rare à New York, mais l'hôtel est vraiment très silencieux. Nous avons pu nous reposer sans aucun bruit urbain, ce qui est un luxe après des journées de marche intensives. * Une literie d'exception : Les lits sont extrêmement confortables, on y dort comme sur un nuage ! * Emplacement stratégique : Situé à la pointe sud de Manhattan, l'hôtel est au pied de quasiment toutes les lignes de métro. C’est le point de départ idéal pour explorer toute la ville très facilement. * Le petit-déjeuner : Il est inclus, ce qui est un vrai plus pour le budget. C’est une formule simple, mais efficace pour bien attaquer la journée avant de partir en vadrouille. En résumé, un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour ceux qui cherchent le confort et l'accessibilité à New York. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Hidden fees added almost an additional 100$ usd per day. For this cost, i could have been in a much nicer hotel, one that didnt trigger my girls claustrophobia. Could barely maneuver the room without hitting a toe on the bed frame. Breakfast is bagels and cereal. Not worth the value. Thin walls, staff said we were playing music too loud.. from a cellphone. Wish we chose better
