  • Relax, you’re at the lake now. One step into this home and the fresh lake breeze and expansive views will immediately put you at peace. Great for single family, couples getaway, or small friend group gathering. Perfect vacation home for all four seasons. We’ve lovingly owned this home for nearly 50 years and have recently remodeled and updated it. Located on one of the best spots on Brooks Lake! Light, bright and spacious with two living rooms, and two decks with stunning lake views. Private sandy beach and dock. Shallow, sandy swimming area. Boat launch nearby if you desire to bring your boat. Or rent our pontoon to cruise the lake. The charming town of Newaygo is less than ten minutes drive. Sleeps 6 privately. Central Heat/AC. Kayak. BBQ Grill. Outdoor tables/umbrellas. Parking for 4-6 vehicles. Please note: This property sets on a hillside and encompasses four levels from garage to beach. Access to each level is by stair. You cannot access the main level of the home without traveling on stairs. Sorry, not handicapped accessible.

We enjoyed our stay the house was clean and well stocked with all the needed kitchen supplies for the cooks of our group. We loved the beach area and playing in the water. I do have to admit all the stairs were a little rough for this 50 group but overall, we had a great time exploring the area.

The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. Three different styles of coffee makers made the mornings easier. Beautiful lake with paddle boat and kayak provided. Very comfortable beds.

Love this property!

Our stay was amazing! Such a beautiful house with great views and the house was very clean. Had a couple of minor issues which the property owner resolved quickly. Terrific communication and response time. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property. My family and I had a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Our stay was related to fishing the nearby Muskegon River so did not use many of the properties/lake features. great place. very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were great. Did not use the lake but the location on the lake looks great.

There were some technical glitches with obtaining the passcode to enter, however, it was figured out within an hour and the owners were very apologetic to us. The home is great with living spaces upstairs and downstairs, and bathrooms that are spacious.

Beautiful house on quiet lake

Their rental home was truly beautiful. Very nice and super clean. Lots of steps-which we knew ahead of time. The lake was nice, not much traffic on it at all. Kids were able to tube behind our boat and we anchored and swam.

Awesome Labor Day Weekend Getaway

We had a fabulous stay at Brooks Lake House, 3 couples for 3 nights. It had amazing lake views. Our relaxing morning coffee on the deck with the fog on top of the lake was incredible. The house was super clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Quality bedding, bath towels, and beach towels were provided and the beds were comfy. Ryan and Jen were quick to respond to questions. We all highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay at this property - it had everything we needed for a couple relaxing days. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the shallow water and taking the kayak and paddle boat out. There was plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, and the inside was clean, nicely finished, lots of natural light with beautiful views of the lake. The lake wasn't loud or overly busy even on a mid-summer weekend. A great spot to relax. We rented their pontoon boat and really enjoyed being able to cruise around on the lake. My only note would be that it was an older boat and none of the gauges worked, so we couldn't tell if it had any gas in it at first. But it served its purpose and we had a great time!
