We used the hotel for a one night stay plus breakfast and a meet point for a coffee with family before our journey home up north. Hotel was beautifully presented, easy to find and clean. As with most hotels that are not new, there were small picky bits around the hotel that a good housekeeper would pick up on… light bulbs out, chip on ceramic bath tub, one bath towel in double occupancy, light discoloured curtains. However, a pleasant stay, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, beds were clean and fresh, coffee lounge/bar accommodating and with a modern feel. Great choice to stay. Would recommend 😊

We have known this hotel for several years. Despite the upbeat but rather confusing rebranding, the hotel is looking a bit worn a and shabby. Food was average, but the wine list was priced far above the average and aimed at the high end market. Really liked the real milk in the fridge.
