The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. 「If you need somewhere to stay in a tranquil setting then look no further than the left luggage office. It is a little gem. It has everything you need for a really comfortable stay and more. We have stayed at many excellent rentals but can honestly say that this was the best. Ruth and Paul were in touch to ascertain we had everything we needed and had no problems and their welcome gift was a lovely touch and much appreciated」

「We had a lovely stay in this apartment, very clean and well equipped. We will definitely be back. It’s very well placed for visiting Hadrians Wall. We travelled by train and found the bus service more than adequate for our needs. The bus stop is outside the apartment. Also there is a range of shops and eateries. On Wednesday in the market square there was a pop up rice van selling take away food.」

「Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. It was good having a second toilet downstairs. It would be helpful if there were some hooks in the bathroom either behind the door or on the wall.」
