“We stayed with friends for a weekend of winetasting and hiking. What a great weekend! Pat and Patrick's historic home (calling all Greek Revival lovers!) is an ideal location in a beautiful setting - on a sloping hill right on Lake Seneca. The house is super well-equipped and huge! The kitchen is large and there are a number of great places to hang out (almost all with a view of the lake!). (Oh, and the beds are really comfortable so we all slept well). Communications with the hosts were……

“Farmhouse is exactly as listed. Well maintained, very clean, comfortable beds and just a neat old farmhouse. Check and out was easy, even gave us an early check in. It is located in the country but half way between Ithaca and Watkins Glen.”

“The family friends we were meeting who grew up in the area unfortunately had a relative pass away so we were on our own exploring the area; however, the house, mainly the front deck was a great area to gather and enjoy everyone's company; we also had their kids stay with us as a distraction and there was plenty of room; my wife and kids loved the sound of the farm, moos at different times of the day.”

“Comfortable and spacious unit with an awesome view! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. We loved meeting the goats in the morning too!”

Not only that historic house is greatly upgraded, but its location close to Seneca lake and animals farm makes it unique for vacation, or work out of the office. Our stay in that unique 4 chimneys farmhouse was complete serendipity.”

“We were a family of 7 (+ 2 dogs), needing a comfortable & roomy place to stay while we moved our daughter & son-in-law to the Ithaca area. The Yellow Barn was absolutely perfect for us. While we didn’t have a lot of time to fully appreciate the property, we did spend time perusing the gorgeous bird books and reflecting on the journaling book that detailed the building of this beautiful barn & property. We did cook breakfast, & found everything we needed in the fully stocked & efficient kitchen.……

“Allie was a thoughtful host, and made sure to stay in touch prior to our visit, with regular messages. Her artistic flair is evident in the decor of the rooms and also in the hearty breakfasts she served us each morning. I recommend this place as a perfect get away spot.- close to Cornell and the Ithaca College but nicely tucked away in farm country.”

My husband & I enjoyed relaxing in front of the pellet stove. & to our surprise, we even experienced our first snow of the season during our stay. So grateful for the hosts quick responses & recommendations for local restaurants & activities. I highly recommend this spot for your next family getaway!”

“Came for 3 days to visit Cornell with my daughter and this home was perfect. Small, yet not lacking anything, rustic but lacking none of the modern tech. The backyard waterful, fire pit and views are worth the stay alone. Would definitely stay again.”
