“Convenient to park and shopping. Very nice place, quiet, some nice views of the Tablelands from back deck. Buy groceries in Deer Lake or at a local store with much less stocking. Black Spruce restaurant was good but a bit heavy on sauces - (Cod dinner). Hike up partway or all of Gros Morne trail - just 5 miles or so away. Don't miss Discovery Center - excellent geology displays. And Green Point for interest in the Cambrian/Ordovician boundary (for geology nuts like me). Very good kitchen,……

“As a family of 10, this house met all of our needs and then some! From being greeted with a gift basket of goodies and a bottle of wine to having a sparkling clean house with plenty of room and space. I’ve never stayed in a more well stocked house - we didn’t need to buy anything except food. Location was perfect allowing us to strike out to various spots in the Avalon region within 1.5 hours drive. The host was very helpful and gracious if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!”

"一間國際油名的酒店, 在整體管理及房間清潔低於一般水平. 我住兩晚, 竟然沒有人清潔房間,廢紙箱內仍然有垃圾, 沒有更新毛巾, 及收拾床舖, 查問前台人員, 竟然對答時執房的政策是alternative day收拾房間, 即是我住兩晚不會有清理房間的服務. 早上在大堂升降機與一名應該是酒店的管理人員一同乘搭, 升降機地面有水漬, 我跟他說有水漬, 他只是笑一笑, 我回來再乘搭升降機時竟然沒有清潔. 其次所謂歐陸式早餐, 冇乜選擇, 咖啡非常普通, 將預製食物翻熱, 只係讚的是,工作人員清潔台面十分努力, 對這間酒店有少少失望."
