This no frills motel was clean & extremely affordable. They didn't offer any of the luxe extras but it was very clean & the property well kept. It was everything we needed & enjoyed it immensely. Cheap rates & clean is all we needed. We definitely recommend staying here. The manager was really nice & friendly

My room was clean and it’s close by to a lot of attractions. I didn’t like that they tried to give me a smoking room when I booked nonsmoking, but mistakes happen and they were quick to fix it without issue.

This was my second stay at the Newport News Inn and I had another good experience. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, takes a while sometimes at the front dest but service was good. Nothing fancy but great for the price and location near to the Hampton Coliseum. Will stay here again the next time I visit.

Very basic

I have stayed here several times. Seems to be a safe location. Some late night activities in parking lot, but not to much. Rooms always seem clean and pretty basic. This trip remote for tv was not functional. Dont expect any type quality towels, so thin you can see through them. I stay here for the price and location.

Sleep 💤

I have stayed in this Motel multiple times. It is decent for what I need. A place to sleep for a night. Room was clean, tv worked, heat and ac worked. This time some car pulled in at 4 am with music blasting, but shut down after about 15 minutes. Area seems safe, but not recommended by me for a family.

We book a room and sit on the bed and sink almost to the floor. Beds sheet couldn't sleep on them, hole & stain on sheets. Attendance lask of customer service. Ask for better sheet with out stain or possible body's fluid still received bad sheet. And act like it the norm.
