we were upgraded and didnt ask for this, so we were pleasantly suprised at the level of comfort and just like a house with all mod cons,spotlessly clean and everything seemed new so would highly recommend and the beaches nearby were all beautiful, our dogs had a great time.we will be back and so glad we discovered this beautiful part of cornwall.nothing bad to say about the place. d

Very good

Very good. Stayed in a superior caravan Mon-Friday. Caravan was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The site is very hilly so be mindful if you aren’t able to walk well. The facilities were ok but some were closed or operating only for a few hours due to the time of year however there were quite a few people around. The location was lovely and quiet but you do need a car to get into Newquay and surrounding areas, the walk to Porth beach was a bit much for us due to the hills. Overall a good break.

Autumn break

Overall it was good. I was disappointed there were no towels which I had expected. It would have been helpful to have clearer details about arrival especially for arrivals after 5pm as the website suggested there would be a problem if we didn't communicate a later arrival time in advance. I arrived later than expected and was really worried I wouldn't be able to get in- once I discovered where to collect the key from it was fine. Could have saved some stress if this was clearer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would visit again.

Our booking was very affordable and easy to organise. Upon arrival, check in was very simple and everyone was very friendly. Loved the dog welcome box! Everything was very clean when we arrived. Just a note to help others, bring own towels and remember your hand soap.

Another great stay at Newquay Bay Resort

Very enjoyable stay. Perfect for our needs and dogs welcomed unlike many other places. Smell of urine in bedroom but can't fault anything else. Comfortable. Appreciate large fridge and freezer. Wifi not great but that can be a bonus. Second stay and will come again.

Good family site

Lovely site, good pools and little club with arcade and pool tables for kids. 5 min drive to gorgeous beaches. Hit a bit by pandemic. Didnt seem to be enough staff and club often only open at 3pm. Cafe by pool was open earlier but poorly stocked so can be difficult to eat on site during day. Wifi reception ok in club but none anywhere else. Good shop on site and affordable beach/surf wear. Dog friendly.

Clean comfortable 3 bedroom caravan with living room sofa bed. Ideal for our needs. Welcome pack was a nice touch. We used the outdoor and indoor pools and ate in the cafe. Ideal place to explore Newquay.

I’ll definitely be back!

Our accommodation was clean and ready upon arrival. A really nice surprise were the free starter packs with a few essentials such as washing up liquid and so on. Anywhere else, you arrive to find immediately have to venture out with a list off all the things you need to buy! It was a nice change to arrive here and not have to worry about running out for the essentials. The area it’s self is nice, plenty to do onsite with a bar across the road which includes an arcade, pool tables and so on. It left us far enough from the city to enjoy peace and quiet with everything you need only 10 minutes away by car! The only downfall for me was the lack of wifi, however this varies depending on your location on site and they were happy to give us the password for the router our devices could reach. All in all, highly recommended for a cheap trip that doesn’t make you wish you’d spent more!

Worst holiday ever. Property covered in dog urine

Caravan was covered in dog urine. The smell was unbearable. Management apologised and sent house keeping in for a carpet wash and sofa clean. Didn't make much difference. Not even Dettol spray and air freshener would mask the smell. Was unable to move us due to it being summer season they were fully booked. The carbon monoxide alarm went off at 2am causing my child to have a seizure as she is noise sensitive. We rang the emergency out of hours provided by the park but no one answered. We ended up sitting in the car for fear of carbon monoxide poisoning. Had to drive around the park site looking for assistance we finally found someone and was resolved by 5am. The shower head in the bathroom was split and water sprayed in all directions. The trim on shower door was hanging off. The site is advertised as family friendly yet our neighbors were having parties next door until 2am, we were unable to sleep we were all shattered. Worst holiday I've ever had, got home and I can't still smell the stink on our luggage cases vile!!
