"The hotel itself was lovely and felt opulent and quite grand - until you got into the rooms. We paid quite a lot of money for what was described as a Superior Double and were told we had been upgraded to a honeymoon suite as it was my wife's birthday. Sadly the first room was awful with paint coming off the walls and no bulbs in the ceiling (the wires were actually hanging down and exposed). We complained and were offered the room next door, which was bigger and seemed better, but we soon realised the furnishings were very poor quality and way past their best. The bathroom was superb but was completely out of sync with the rest of the room. The balcony was out of bounds too as it was unsafe! This was a big room but was most definitely not of a standard that merits the title of honeymoon suite."

"Host was very accommodating as we arrived early they allowed us to enter accommodation early , location and view was amazing and apartment was lovely ,there was everything you could want and was lovely and clean!A couple of things to mention was the mattress in the 1 non suite was very uncomfortable so much so i spent the weekend sleeping on my own while hubby slept in the frontroom,The towel rails in both bathrooms didnt come on ,and the extractor fans didnt work! Other than this it was a nice short break, would definitely book again if mattress upgraded "

"After being let down by another booking, we chose Oceanside as a last-minute option — and we’re so glad we did. We booked a sea-view room and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The room was spacious and airy, with stunning views across Fistral Beach and the golf course. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the room had all the usual amenities you’d expect — mini fridge, coffee, bottled water and more. The hotel bar serves Rattler, and there’s a great outdoor terrace to relax on. It’s ideally located, just a short walk to both the town and Fistral. There’s also private parking at the rear of the hotel, which is free at this time of year — a real bonus. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. We genuinely have no complaints and will definitely be returning soon."
