Quaint and right in the middle of everything. Within walking distance of the theatres. Be aware, the rooms are above the tavern/restaurant and they have live music until 1:00 on the weekends. We stayed on a Tuesday so it was perfect. Did not get a chance to check out the cottages but the music would most likely affect them. We would definitely stay there again.....during the week :)

Lovely, quaint character inn with lots of charm. Loved the Governors Suite as it has two separate like bedrooms with access to the bathroom from both. Comfortable beds also. No coffee maker or fridge in the room. Website should let you know before booking that on weekends live bands can be heard in the room. We were informed by the inn that this was case and earplugs were provided and also a sound machine in the room. Great walking distance to the shops and the festival theatre.

Rooms and bathroom is small but very clean. Close to everything. Having on site parking was amazing. Staff is great. It does get loud on Friday and Saturday evenings but it actually lulled me to sleep. This was our second stay and would stay again,

The Olde Angel Inn was clean, well maintained and good value for the price. It was however, very loud in the room while the band was playing music in the bar below. This was told to us in advance so it wasn’t a surprise.

Staff was welcoming and very helpful. The TV wasn't working, so they replaced it with a new TV that worked well. The pub-fare was excellent. Keep in mind that this place is a vintage, historic establishment. Not contemporary and modern. This is smack in the centre of town. We were very satisfied.

Simple rooms and great location for all things NOTL. There is live music until midnight in the pub directly below the lodging area Thurs-Sat. We were not told about this until check in (nothing in the posting or confirmation message). We enjoyed hanging out in the bar, but others may not be so open to waiting until after midnight to go to bed. There is no electric kettle in the room or coffee available downstairs, making the “inn” aspect underwhelming.
