"My stay was excellent from beginning to end. Staff and manament are professional and accommodating. The property is maintained immaculately. Breakfast should include eggs and a rotation on the protein. The bread choices should be heathier and varied. The selection of children's cereals is not adequate for adults. There is no fresh sliced fruit option. Breakfast is minimally acceptable. Many hotels fall off on breakfast. Perhaps the price of the room does not permit a more robust breakfast. I would be willing to pay a little more for a better hot meal and a sliced fruit offering in the morning with my FOX news channel. Everything else concerning this hotel is exceedingly and provided at a fair price."

"We Love the ambiance we stayed lower level with 2 beds overlooking lake view peaceful environment We came after Memorial Day so if you like quietness great place to do it There’s a bbq grill outside our room and nice chairs to relax there’s a door to go to the patio and deck outside so you can walk around the back property just make sure you pay attention where you’re walking coz there’s a lot of bird and duck droppings great place to do bird watch if you like nature We stayed in the room where there’s full kitchen so it made it convenient to cook breakfast and load our groceries on the big fridge Over all we had a nice stay we plan to visit again in the future and maybe we will bring our fishing rods when we have more time to go fishing ."

"This property is so unique and the concept of converting cabooses into rooms was genius. We had a wonderful two night stay. We stayed in “The Gatsby” caboose, which has a deck out front overlooking clear lake. The deck was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee and our evening cocktail. Inside our caboose were robes & other amenities to enjoy the in-room jacuzzi. Loved the hanging chairs, and the grounds were so lush and well maintained. The breakfast both days was delicious. We also enjoyed the pool. Megan was so friendly and helpful when we checked in and out. Ally was amazingly friendly & you can see the pride she has for this resort reflected everywhere! Highly recommend."

"I like the rooms! Bed was very comfortable. I didn’t like the bugs and that there was not really an area for our party to gather around in celebration of a milestone birthday. The fishing was not great in comparison to the other locations we have stayed at however I do like the amenities this resort provides for children."
