An sich prima hotel, maar geen airco waardoor het erg warm was in onze kamer (ondanks relatief lage buitentemperaturen in zomer). De haardroger was kapot, lagen bij eerste binnenkomst wat kruimels in een van de bedden.

Gastvrijheid in optima forma

Wegens vertraging van de vlucht van mijn collega’s arriveerden wij na 22:00 uur in het hotel. Zowel de eigenaresse als de dame van de receptie ontvingen ons desalniettemin bijzonder gastvrij. Uiteraard was de keuken inmiddels gesloten, maar de bar werd voor ons alsnog geopend en wij werden uiterst vriendelijk bediend. De gastvrijheid was hartverwarmend en iets wat je in Nederland tegenwoordig nog nauwelijks meemaakt. Een vermelding daarom meer dan waard. Ook de dame van het ontbijt was overigens uiterst vriendelijk.

Prima hotel met een top gastvrouw.

Gastvrouw Lisa is een topper die voor een gevoel van een warm welkom zorgdraagt. De kamer was netjes, evenals de badkamer. De twee aparte douchekranen voor warm en koud water, zou ik vervangen door een moderner (en veiliger...) mengkraan. De maaltijd in het restaurant was prima, echter het prijsniveau van € 21,00 voor een (goede) hamburger is stevig. De kamer was warm en het geluid van de weg die voor het hotel ligt, was zelfs in de nacht, erg hinderlijk. Een kamer aan de achterkant van het hotel is aan te bevelen. Al met al een prima hotel, zeker gelet op het prijsniveau.

De accommodatie zag er prima uit. We konden voor het hotel parkeren en we werden direct geholpen. De kamer was zelfs groter dan verwacht. De bedden lagen prima en het personeel was vriendelijk. Zeker een aanrader!

De advertentie op Hotels.com is misleidend, daar stond een soort kasteel als je verder kijkt zie pas dat het iets anders is dan het suggereert. Ook was volgens internet een tweepersoonsbed geboekt maar wij kregen twee losse een persoonsbedden. Verder vriendelijk en behulpzaam bij het buiten reguliere tijden inchecken. Er was geen gelegenheid om s'morgens vroeg te ontbijten en het leek of het hele hotel verlaten was. Ook was geen personeel bij de balie om uit te checken. Sleutels op de balie gelegd en vertrokken.
