Family Fishing

Overall it was a great get away. we always pick a different place for opening weekend, and this is a top contender. Plenty of things for the kids to do. We had a bonus weekend as it was super hot and the kids swam like crazy. Plenty of room for our big group. Thank you again.

Beautiful home, lots of space, right on Gull Lake

Although it was too chilly to enjoy lake activities, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We may be back for a summer visit!

This home was large enough for our whole family. There were games for kids. Great walk to lake even though it was December. Would stay there again.

Beautiful lake home

The home was beautiful and well cleaned. Having a dock to fish off of was great. A cute little beach for the kids to play in with an awesome fire pit. Will definitely come back again for our family gathering.

We had a great time the house was big enough for our big family and plenty of room. We loved loved loved that there was a sandy beach right at the house to play at! The water was beautiful and so clear for our trip the kids were so excited that they could see the fish swimming right off the dock!

The guys could not stop talking about the amazing time they had. They said the house was beautiful and had everything they needed to make the stay the best possible. They got LOTS of fishing time in. We will definitely being looking to rent this house again!

Great views!

Property was clean and each room on main level had amazing lake views! Only downfall was communication. Host didn’t message as promptly as we needed. Awesome beach too!

Need some work!

Great location. But the property and house need a lot of work. Deck has holes in it. Bathrooms are very small and need to be redone. Sliding doors sticking. Screens with holes.

Gull Lake

Property was nice and spacious - lots of room for our accommodations. Local property manager was not very responsive to phone calls or returning calls nor making arrangements with VRBO on check in and out times agreed to ahead of time. Short on towels and paper products - had to make a run to the store for basic needs.

Annual "Sisters" Weekend on Gull Lake

For 28 years we held our annual "Sisters" weekend at my home on Gull Lake, but it was sold last spring. We were afraid that staying at an unfamiliar place would diminish the kinship, intimacy and fun that we came to experience in the past, but we were wrong. This property was the perfect replacement. The well-appointed layout gave us plenty of space for breaking into little groups for individual conversations and yet allowed us to gather together at other times for games, laughter and meals. All 15 of us had comfortable beds, clean linens, and access to the 3 bathrooms. The location of the home on the western shore of Gull Lake allowed us a beautiful view of the lake while relaxing on the large deck or on the beach. We all agreed that this home was the next best thing to being at home.

Family Getaway

We came to Gull Lake for a family vacation and this property was a great fit. We had four families staying under one roof and never felt cramped. The house was very clean and checkin was effortless. Had plenty of outdoor space to set up our crafts, games and sit around the fire. The view of the lake was amazing from the deck and dock had plenty of room for 2 pontoons. We did have to replace the entryway door closer for safety reasons when we arrived as it was broken and we were concerned the repeated slamming would cause further damage. Parking was tight for the number of vehicles we had there and hard to turn around on the narrow road. The only radon for the one star rating for the Host was we never contacted them. Overall a quiet and private location.

Perfect spot for a small class reunion.

The house was beautiful and roomy and a great setting for a reunion. A great spot to gather and talk, enjoy meals, and have options for shopping and exploring Nisswa or just lounging. We plan to do it again next year.
