“The house was cool it has an old cabin type feel however the stairs going up to the loft you better be careful because each stair gives you about 4 inches to step on. The house also has no blinds or curtains on it which felt sorta weird and the upstairs bed sheep’s appears to have some sort of blood colored stain on the comforters but we over all had a great stay and would stay they’re again it was very secluded and sat on some beautiful property”

“What an amazing vacation had by all! Dawn was exceptional with communication. Enough space for all us. Awesome kitchen to prep and cook in. The decks and piers were wonderful to enjoy the awesome weather! Dock was perfect for the boat and we can't say enough about that lake!!!! Will we be back??? DEFINITELY YES!!!!!”

“Perfect location on the water. We were able to catch fish every day from the pier. Large deck that worked great for the entire family. An easily accessible entry to get into the water and easy to get kayaks into the water. Owner was quick to respond when questions were asked.”

“House was beautiful. High quality all the way; mattresses, kitchen appliances, furniture. Nice playroom with toys. Game room was wonderful. Only drawback was access to water; lots of steps. Hard (or impossible) for older people and small children to get down to dock.”

“We stayed at this house right after Christmas. It was a lovely home and a great location. We had a couple of things that happened. One was the door code wasn’t working at first when we arrived and another had to do with a circuit breaker for the oven. Without going into too much detail, I can share that the host was probably the most responsive host I have ever dealt with. They called, texted, and were very pleasant and kind to deal with. The location is about 30 minutes from Walmart and……

“This property did not disappoint! No detail was spared in making this the perfect spot for comfort and relaxation. And the views! The property was designed and situated to take advantage of panoramic scenery. Our fisherman were especially appreciative of the private boat ramp and dock. There were 3 couples and we all commented that you couldn’t go wrong with any of the 3 bedrooms….all 3 were comfortable and had their own baths. We will definitely stay again if back in the area. Awesome trip!”

“This house was an amazing jewel to stay at! Fantastic location off the lake and close to Alabaster with an easy commute. Our group loved sitting by the fire each night and the amount of seating is perfect for a large group. We had a maintenance issue during our stay and the housekeeper came out immediately to assist. Great communication from owner.”

“Since I got my reclining bed at home, I slept the best at this hotel than I have at any hotel and didn’t wake up hurting. Didn’t hear any other noise. The pool was nice and clean. ”

“Owners extremely welcoming and helpful. Large room, and very clean. Availability of charging points and different options for lighting nice. Only downside for me was the firm pillows, but I can deal with that. All in all I would recommend this as a budget friendly hotel. ”

“We stayed for two nights to attend a local race. The front desk clerk, who was very nice, changed our room to a 2nd floor corner room, which he said was one of the finest he had. The room was huge, but sparsely furnished. There was also no maid service after our first night, which was really no big deal, but it would have been nice to have a small cafe table and a couple chairs. However, the traffic noise could be heard all night long, even in our room which was perhaps the farthest from the……
