Older resort but food and onsens were great.
Very convenient location to both the local sights as well as the shops. The on-site shop was also very handy to comfortably shop for some of the local products.
Open air onsen was fantastic. Hotel was right by the foot onsen trail. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Front desk staff spoke english well.

On the older side, traditional Japanese style hotel. A bit of a walk from the town center (uphill). Food was very good. Very good value.
great to have private onsen. their buffet breakfast were great. sadly they made mistake on our prepaid dinners. we bought the room that included dinner and breakfast but they said we didn't pay for breakfast.
An old hotel with most of staff don’t speak English well. The breakfast is good but the dinner is very simple like Cafeteria food. Ohsen is so so, not very impressed. The room is ok, every time opening door with loud noises as you had to push hard to close the door properly. Overall all, this is not the hotel that I recommend.

Nice traditional Japanese hotel. Room was spacious aside from the bathroom which is extremely small. Air conditioning in room was minimal however the hotel provided us with a fan. The staff at the hotel are very kind and helpful. The hotel is in need of upgrading. Carpets were worn and dirty. The public bath was nice and relaxing however in need of upgrading too. The buffet was good with many different food choices. The shuttle to and from the airport and train station was very practical.

This was a pretty nice ryokan/onsen. Positives: The staff were friendly, and they even had a reserved shuttle bus that will take you from the hotel to New Chitose Airport. The dinner and breakfast buffet was also great because they tried to serve local Sapporo/Hokkaido delicacies. Like, we were able to do our own gengiskhan lamb cooktop for our buffet dinner (which is only found mainly in Hokkaido). Negatives: it was so crowded! This is a big ryokan so there were tons of people checking in and out and smoking and making noise too. Since there were so many people, elevators were crowded and the public insensitive were crowded. There were no private onsen reservations from what I am aware. Having so many people kind of took away from the experience of bathing, eating, and sleeping peacefully here.

We got the japanese style room and were given a shower. However, the hot water is not hot even though you turn it all the way. The room is dusty especially the curtains, the window screen and some dust on the furniture. The bedroom itself is so hot too!
On our first night, we ask if they will set up the futon bed but it is so hard for the staff to understand what i am saying due to limited english speaking. So we ended up setting our own futon bed. The futon were on the thinner side so be prepared to get a back ache a little bit.
The dining (dinner/breakfast) is so packed and very busy so you have to line up for the food and drinks.
The staff are fast to replenished the food and the seat arrangement are easy to get.
Our second night, the room was clean, there were two men came to our room to set up our futon bed in a nicer way. I requested a cooling fan but the front desk didn’t understand me again and hang up the phone :-(.
The good thing in here was the onsen that you can relax. They also have a massage services that open at 3pm for 14500 yen you can get a 2 hr massage.
We liked the choice of 2 public baths, and preferred the outside option. We were rushed to finish breakfast by 900 when everything closes, given that we arrived at 820 (our “slot” was 800-830 but no one was checking
Property need to go through some upgrades. Stay at room 346 for 3 nights. Room ceiling has dust and moulds around washing sink. It is also noisy in the middle of the night can hear noise , push/dragging if furniture sound coming from the dining area cause room is directly above it. Bed sheets has holes too , lol. Onsen is nice however the drying/ beauty area has 2 hair dryer not in working condition. May not be worth the $ .

Staff were friendly and helpful. Property is old and has aging sign everywhere. Room carpet has a number of dirt marks. Very hot in the restaurant during dinner and breakfast. Good about this property is it is very close to the walk tracks of Noboribetus.
The staff were wonderful and very helpful despite my husband and I knowing very little Japanese. We rented a private bath which was lovely. The facilities do need some updating, but the location was great. It was a very easy walk to dining, Seven 11, and the hiking trails. We also had a delicious breakfast buffet with so many different options.
Too old building , room too old , no facilities, toilet in room very small , we booked a room for 4ppl , 2 single bead and 2 tatami. Only Onsen is good
We loved our stay at this hotel and wished we had more than one night to spend in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was well run, despite being enormous (taking up 3 separate buildings). My husband and I loved the onsens and sauna, and especially magical was sitting in the outdoor onsen with snow falling on us. The dinner and breakfast buffets were also outstanding, with plenty of vegetarian options for my husband. We hope to be able to return to this area in a different season in future, and when we do, we'll definitely try to stay here again.

The hotel is old and pretty worn. However the stafff members were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very full the night of our stay. Our room was clean, but amenities were scarce - there were no Ocha cups nor drinking glasses in the room and had to be requested. The onsen was nice, and food was pretty good.
Amenities is great, staff is friendly and helpful. Clean and the room is spacious. The only downside was our room was close to some air conditioner motor kind of thing and it ran all night. It’s also a bit far from the Main Street. Other than that it was a good stay.
