"This home is beautifully decorated and a great highend feel away from home. All of the amenities were great & the home is kept clean. The host was great with communication. My only negative is that the area outside the home has limited dining options other than at small place across the street that closes at 6pm 4 days a week and is more a yummy breakfast or lunch spot (also with kind owners). Also there is no Uber on the island, only Bolt and it's new so it may be hard at times to get drivers...

"We were a group of six and had an amazing stay in Azores, and this house was perfect for us! The property was spotless, well maintained, and had more than enough space for all of us to relax comfortably. The kitchen and living areas were perfectly equipped with everything. The location served as a fantastic home base for exploring the island, and the host was very communicative and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!"

"Phillipe greeted us with warmth and kindness. Breakfast buffet was good and well maintained, supper buffet was often less maintained and rarely had food in all the food warmers and generally lacked dessert options other that gelatin like items. It was nice to have live music, pool table to meet with our friends after supper and a day of exploring the island. Rooms were clean however, the carpet is old, tired and some stains. Because of the humidity from the ocean and climate the room would smell musty when returning until the air conditioner had been on for a while again. The room does not maintain air conditioning when you leave as your room key needs to be inserted to have any power to the room. Lighting for getting ready is minimal so if you like to do your makeup bring your own light."

"Beautiful gardens and decor of hotel was great, particularly enjoyed thermal pools and the bar. Only disappointing part was we missed two days of our stay due to delays with flights so ended up losing out on a considerable amount of money. We did however get engaged in the gardens here during our stay so we will hopefully return in future to relive the moment!"

Unique sunrise oceans' view

"A unique and very beautiful spot for a summer house. Perched just above the sea on the volcanic cliffs to the west of the island. Corey’s shearwaters (?) nesting just below the balcony gave us a stunning display at dusk and dawn. Good parking close by. We were unlucky enough to have unseasonably cold weather for May so the log burner hot a bit of use in the evenings.If you want to cook for yourself there is a well stocked kitchen and plenty of herbs spices and oils available.As a bonus we went whale watching and had a close up experience with a Blue Whale. All in all a great place to stay on a relatively unspoilt island."
