Normandy Shores Cheap Hotels

"Staying for a work conference. Unfortunately, it is also during spring break so the hotel closes pools early. There is also not a refrigerator in the room to store medications, leftover restaurant food or personal drinks. "

"I loved my view from my room and the pool area was very cute and clean, HOWEVER, having to carry all my luggage 4 flights of stairs without any help (i was told no help/ staff was available to help bring it up) was pretty disappointing and frustrating. After reading reviews from past travelers it seems the ELEVATOR HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR A WHILE AND NOT A FEW DAYS. The AC worked good in our room. Second issue, was the construction happening next door, you could feel the whole room vibrating and the noise was just awful and to work from my hotel room was pretty bad. The property didn’t feel pet friendly since there isnt really an area for pets to do their needs other than the front grass but the staff was very friendly to my service dog. The person that checked us in was super sweet and friendly. I liked I could drive to great food spots only a few minutes away. I would stay here again but this issue with the elevator is unacceptable and hope this gets fixed because it wasnt a cheap stay either. "
