I had to check out 2 days early because our job wasn't ready, I informed the staff of this and told it wouldn't be a problem little did I know I was charged 700 for 2 rooms for one NIGHT not to mention the ac wasn't working a fact that we neither recieved a discount or were informed of before our arrival,I'll sleep in a tent before I ever go to this hotel again.

As always The Tropical Inn is reliable! Have been going for special events for many many years. It is definitely dated but clean. The bed and sheets are great. Nice to have the restuarant. The bar is nice.

The hotel is extremely dated. The pool…the amount of chlorine in that pool was terrible. At first it seemed ok then after about 5-10 minutes our kids were coughing, their eyes were burning and our swimsuits were completely bleached. Not I’m pressed by that at all.

The hotel is due for maintenance and a renovation. There was paint missing in the rooms, the tub was stained the bathroom needs maintenance. The bathroom was leaking each time we took a shower.

Shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed. Fridge needed to be turned on but couldn’t find switch. AC wasn’t working. Had to open patio door for cool air but then the bar people out smoking were very loud only feet away from room. Poorly set up property. Won’t be returning.

Our room had mice in it and upon leaving - we booked another room at another hotel and left without staying- we witness large mouse traps in the hallway and were told that the hotel opened to a large field and that the mouse population could not be controlled. That they were trying to handle the mouse problem, they have traps set up in the hallways. Do NOT stay here!

This property has steadily been going down hill over the decades. Fairly clean but many areas in disrepair. The waterslide area was just okay. No A/C in July did not make for pleasant nights. In the morning found someone sleeping at the top of the stairwell. Apparently they thought they were in their bed. This person did not appear to be a hotel guest. Fast food restaurants in the area also seemed to be refruge for similar folks. It used to be quite a nice place but those days are in the past. Cannot recommend.

Decent location, not to far drive from town centre, lots of parking and on-site restaurant and bar. Definitely needs its fixes but all in all was still clean and staff was kind and helpful. Pricing was fair and would recommend.
