“I booked this property mainly because of the YOTEL name, assuming it was YOTEL-managed. I later learned that the unit is privately managed by a third party, even though it is in the YOTEL building. It was not clear to me when booking and made the experience disappointing. If I had known, I would not have booked it. “The property is extremely outdated and worn (drawers don’t open, base boards and tile dirty and stained). There is no ramp to use with a stroller to get in and out of the property so you need two people to carry the stroller up and down stairs. You ca ask for an early check in, which is at 1:30. I inquired about an early check in at 9:00 am the day of check in. At 12:20 pm I still had not heard back from them so we made arrangements for a scheduled pick up with UBER and a late hotel check out……

“As soon as I opened the door my daughter and I were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke and an oval chemical smell. The chemical smell burned our throats, you could literally taste it. Then if that wasn’t enough, the long black hairs on the bed sheets. The bathtub looked like a contractor washed out a drum of cement in the tub. There was cement all over the inside of the tub. Called the number in my email numerous times with every time getting a word recording with no way to leave a message.……
