“We booked this place as a bed and breakfast. No breakfast. No staff on site. No information was provided at the hotel to help us find things in the area. We were not informed that this was a "self check in hotel" until after the cancellation date. Calling the Heritage office (off site) for assistance was useless as the staff could not answer our questions. The common areas were sparsely furnished and shabby. The outside deck area hadn't been swept in quite a while. The deck furniture was in……

“Used coffee cups in dining area...no breakfast...owner said that he would compensate for that but there was no one to check us out the next morning with no compensation...shame that an historic inn is falling through the cracks...I definitely would not stay there again...”

“We loved our stay at the chalet. It's perfectly situated in the cutest little neighborhood, while also feeling very secluded. The chalet had everything we needed for our stay. While visiting we walked a few of the trails nearby, part of the Valley Trail and the Hoot, Toot and Whistle. They were both perfect for our pups, especially during hunting season. We gave our pups an extra squeeze in honor of Scarlet. Thank you for sharing your place with us! We would love to stay again!!”

“Amazing! Cannot get a better location! So close to everything! Quick walk to village shops and slopes. Very clean. Lots more room than I was expecting for two big 17 year old boys and parents. Kids had their own bedroom, bathroom and storage area on main floor, adult had master suite with own bathroom upstairs. Plenty of room in kitchen and family room. The only complaint is that hotels hot tubs and pool were over run with too many little kids. ”
