“I’ve been coming to Mendocino for 25 years — sometimes with kids, sometimes with my spouse, and sometimes on my own. This is the nicest place I’ve stayed at. I initially booked it for myself, but then my husband decided to join me. I was worried from the pictures that it might be too cramped for 2 people, but that was not at all the case. There is a nice comfortable indoor sitting space for 2, in addition to the kitchen table/chairs. And of course the garden space is amazing. But even on a rainy……

“I’m sadly back to reality now after spending 4 nights in this beautiful space. We arrived after a long, chilly, rainy drive to a warm and welcoming home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring nearby redwood forests and beaches. We also loved simply hanging out at the cottage… so comfy inside and so peaceful outside. Nikki is a great host, responded right away with any questions we had. Will definitely return!!”

“Lovely small house right in the heart of Trinidad. Very clean. And very convenient to the beaches and the redwoods. Trinidad is a gem, and I hope it stays largely undiscovered. It’s a perfect place to experience and explore the magic of the Northern California coast with out huge crowds. I’ll definitely be back!”

“My husband and I stayed at the cottage for my birthday and we had an amazing time. The view is hands down the best part. The hot tub is so relaxing and the privacy is perfect. We listened to the waves and birds as we enjoyed the deck area. We will probably bring our own pillows next time because these were quite flat, but nothing to stop me from coming back!”

“Love this place and would stay here again. Everything is renovated beautifully. We loved sipping coffee while watching the hummingbirds outside the window. The Murphy bed was comfortable as well as the main bed. We were incredibly bummed that the fog never lifted during our stay. The water is RIGHT THERE, but we never saw it. Location is great, close to ft Bragg and Mendocino. Of note, we felt weird taking a shower or washing dishes because it is plastered everywhere about how bad the drought……

The communication with the property manager is remarkably prompt and attentive. We’ve stayed two times so far, and look forward to staying again!”

“I have mostly good things to say, but the neighborhood was not great and no hot tub on property. Extremely clean, easy check in, very attentive owners. A local young man greeted us shortly after arrival, nice touch. We thought we left something behind and owners responded immediately. The inside is as described. Upstairs has very low ceilings. We had 3 adults and the owner reached out to us right away to make sure we were ok with that. However, the neighborhood is not great. Its in a rundown……
