“I wish we had more reasons to stay near the Briar Inn because we would be regulars! We only needed one night in order to attend a few graduation events and the Briar Inn far exceeded our expectations. I could tell from the Expedia listing that it was going to be a quaint little place to stay outside of Salem, but it was really exceptional. The fine details in the rooms (snacks to purchase, complimentary bottled water, working fireplace, etc) really made this stay perfect. The bathrooms are……

“Lobby and room was clean, check in was timely and efficient. Location is convenient. The room required some maintenance, however . The shower did not drain well. Unfortunately on the 3rd night of the stay I was awakened by the sound of running water- it was dripping down from the ceiling around the sprinkler system head and through the light fixture over the bathroom sink-, a plumbing issue from above. Resolved with a call to the front desk, but it was as an unfortunate awakening. I left that……
