After leaving an initial review, I was contacted by Melissa. We discussed the issues with the property and she addressed all of my concerns. I appreciate her follow up and we will use Elliot Beach Rental on our return to the area.

The management company was great to work with but the house had significant issues. It rained inside the living room one day, which was fixed the next day. The kitchen faucet started to leak so bad that it flooded the countertop and required a full replacement. The floor in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom sag so much that you had to walk uphill to get to the kitchen sink. The bedrooms, beach and location was as described and we'd stay with the company again but not this house. We did worry about how much the house swayed in the wind. Have never stayed in a house that swayed that much and we've rented a lot of houses on stilts. If you have a good sense of adventure and the small things don't bother you, this house and location will be fine, as long as it's structurally sound. That last part we did alert the management company as it's a safety issue if not inspected.
