8/10 Good

"Dated Western hotel features a chic interior design. Room quite small and a bit outdated. Maybe okay for 1 night stay. Bed and pillow are not as comfortable. Quite room. Convenient located next to Namba station and few minutes away from major shopping street, near Dotonbori. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, maybe not to have a large portion of food bought out at once, so the food stay fresh."

"Room was clean but very tight, didn't have basic items like water bottles - needed to get other items like toothbrush, razor, etc from the lobby. Location was terrific with a huge shopping mall right below th hotel and other malls in the surrounding areas, easily accessible by walking."

"Wonderful experience from the provided pajamas, to the massage chairs, to breakfast and the late night ramen meal. The onsen area was very clean and was a wonderful relaxing experience. I would have more benches or chairs for people to sit on, in the lobby, while taking off and putting on shoes."

"I do not like this place and am going to explain why. I booked here as my first and second choices are full, and I found this place with a decent google teview score but it doesn’t deserve 4+ 1. Room size is acceptable but there is no sofa. Besides bed, just a tiny table and two wood chairs. Bed is hard like floor. Worst one I have seen in Japan. 2. I accidentally booked for 1 guest (actually 2) then employees keep chasing me for additional $. First of all, with that addition, this place doesn’t worth the price. Secondly, I get it that I made the mistake and will pay at the checkout, so stop asking “can you pay now” every time when you see me. 3. Another red flag of this place set the checkout time at 10am and will charge you if you want to stay for longer. Seriously? Alright I should have known to not come here when seeing that. Avoid if you can. There are better choices nearby with the same amount of $. $170 for this? For real? The day before I paid $180 for Courtyard in Osaka. And besides the Marriot and Hilton brand, I have tried APA too, and even they do a better job than here."

"The hotel location was great since it was close to major areas of the city but it was still in a quiet area away from crowds. There’s beautiful temples and shrines close by as well as amazing dining options. My favorite part of the hotel was having a laundry room on the floor we were staying; it was very convenient. The cleaning staff were very fast and organized as well. The window view was great and overall the room was pretty cozy. The only complaint I would have is that the TV was slow but WiFi was fine."
