「The ground floor apartment could have been cleaner and better equipped! The parking was tight, the upstairs neighbours were a bit noisy. The bed was comfy but would have been better if it was bigger as the rooms are quite spacious! Pet friendly.」

「This is a classic quaint, village inn, excellent food, and very comfortable folksy rooms with loft beds. The proprietor and all the staff are super helpful and friendly. A perfect spot to hike directly to the best spots of Hadrians Wall.」

「The Inn is perfectly located for enjoying Kirkby Stephen. The staff - especially Jacqui - is super helpful and kind. Really enjoyed our brief time there. Our friends who stayed down the street were wishing they had booked here. Be prepared to carry luggage upstairs and know the bed isn’t super big by American standards. 」

「Room was fine, tea and coffee wasn't very nice and no complementary biscuits. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. States Brompton however 8 miles away. Bed was really uncomfortable. Evening meal was nice, 10% surcharge on you bill! Wine expenses! Breakfast was so so. Waited a long time for someone to come to the checkin fest on arrival and departure. Probably would try an alternative hotel 」

「The Hotel is a treat for the eyes and a great place to relax in the many rooms. A beautiful bar and a great breakfast kept us satisfied after a day of exploring the area. A super comfortable bed made our stay even better. The golf course looks beautiful and the hiking trails are interesting. Easy to park your car. The staff were helpful and very polite.
