"Lovely converted 2nd story. Simple, spacious, and tidy with a nice beachy theme. Kitchenette had a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave (No stove or toaster) Grill on the patio. Perfect spot for beach access and close to major attractions. Loved it! "

"The hot tub and pool are always a hit during travel and we were able to catch some good days between storms. The room was clean and spacious, and the fresh air from the patio was a nice change from hotel air. The cable is always weird in San Diego because there are so many commercials and infomercials. The breakfast was a little strange because of the setup. The buffet is like any other continental brekky you could get for free at other hotels and equally regular in taste and options. You might consider spending your money on breakfast elsewhere, unless you're on a time crunch or want some cute little jams and honey. Overall it was a good stay, and we will definitely come back for sleep and swim. And because we did not have the chance to visit the spa, perhaps that will be something to write about next time! "
