We really enjoyed our stay at the Hopping Hare. Service was exemplary, room was clean and plenty big enough. Restaurant food was a notch above your usual pub grub and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. We stayed one night for a World Cup rugby match at Franklins Gardens which was within walking distance.

Great breakfast and helpful friendly staff.

Food was exceptional for both evening meal and breakfast and staff was on hand and very helpful and friendly to deal with during my stay. Rooms were of a very good and clean but of an average standard but would stay again just for the food.

We have stayed at the Hopping Hare a few times. It is a great pub, the food is very good, and the staff are very helpful. We would recommend the Hopping Hare to anyone. Only down side is getting to the rooms can be a little tricky - narrow passage ways and stairs.
