“Its very cozy. Its clean and fully equipped! It has everything you can ever need on a family get away. It even has binoculars for us to use on our hiking. Love how its few steps away from the beautiful Lake Superior. Its so relaxing waking up to the sound of waves in the morning while sipping your coffee. Its 2 miles away from Gooseberry falls and very close to all trails that lead you to appreciate the beauty of the North. We will come back again !!!!!”

“We had a great stay at this cabin. We came up for a weekend but all wished could of stay longer! It had everything we could ask for. The lake was beautiful and serene. The woods/ landscape were full of nature. The cabin was nicely furnished and very comfortable. We had three adults, and it had plenty of room for us without even using the bunkhouse. If you are looking for a peaceful lakeside cabin this is the one for you. We would stay absolutely stay here again but next time more then two……

“We had 4 families stay for a weekend over the kids’ school’s spring break. We had 10 kids ranging from 9 to 16 and 8 adults. It was a blast! Enough space for everyone to sleep - the game room, sport court, hot tub, sauna and fun selection of board games kept everyone entertained that we never left the property for the entire stay! The kitchen is very nicely stocked with everything you need. The little beach house was a fun little hangout spot for the teens. Eric was very easy to communicate with……

“My husband and I loved everything about this cabin. It is private up on a hill with a gorgeous view yet close to many things. The cabin is of excellent design and every aspect works perfectly. I loved the barn doors on the master bedroom that we could close in the morning when I got up earlier than my husband to make coffee. Most A frame designs leave the loft bedroom open to all of the noises of the kitchen but not this cabin. I also loved looking out over the lake while soaking in the copper……

“If you’re looking for a relaxing experience up the north shore, look no more! Truly, our family needed a place to congregate since most of us live out of state and it was very accommodating. It has all the bells and whistles in the kitchen from sharp fabulous knives to a Darth Vader toaster…lol. The enclosed porch has a game table to a sofa that faces Lake Superior. Every night we enjoyed chatting by the fire place with enough room for all 7 of us. They have views from every aspect of their……

“The yurt is perfect, with all the amenities for a relaxed stay in nature. The owners have provided all the access to power, water, heating to make it like a well appointed hotel room, but in the country and with windows all around. I could happily watch the sky through the skylight for hours.”

“Our second Christmas at this cabin! We brought our tree, lights, presents, and enough food to last us several days. Because there was no snow and we found slushy ice on Gegoka, we drove to nearby hiking trails—all lovely. The kitchen is well-provisioned with spices, herbs, pots and pans and the bookshelves are loaded with terrific wildlife resource books. This cabin has one of the best wood stoves we’ve experienced. Despite gloomy, rainy days, we had a good stay!”
