“The host didn’t pay his power bill and the power was cut off. This is after I sent him the notice that was on the door. They didn’t have WiFi service until the 5th day. His bathroom threshold was a on inch high wooden board that busted your toe at night. They didn’t provide basic supplies like dish washing liquid or coffee supplies . When I I reported this to VRBO and checked out early. The host text me he was part of a business group in the area and he said I would never be able to rent a place……

“The whole cabin was fantastic and all the land to let my dog run around while we’re outside enjoying the fire pit was awesome. It has everything you need to do your own cooking or if you’re not in the mood for cooking it has all the information you need to go. Find the perfect place to dine out!”

“Cabin was as described. The door code didn’t work and we messaged back and forth and never did get a working door code. We tried a side door and it was left unlocked is how we got in but we waited for maintenance for over 2 hours. We left the property unlocked all weekend because we never got a working code maintenance guy said Augusta was safe not to worry about it. Also the cabin was full of lady bugs. ”

“The host canceled our stay due to loss of heating. Unfortunately, she sent an email at midnight the night before our stay. I did not see the email and our whole family converged on the rental and were told it was unavailable. While I understand the need to cancel the reservation, I think a phone call would have been a better choice of notification. We were left trying to scramble for other accommodations for our family celebration at 4:00 pm on a Saturday.”

“These three cabins were a perfect fit for our group of eight. The cabins and bathrooms were incredibly clean! We enjoyed having our dinner and morning coffee at the pavilion. A float trip on the Meramec River is only a short drive away. We will definitely consider this for next year’s gathering. ”

“Property was exactly as advertised. Clean and convenient to Leasburg and our floating destination.”

“Property is very spacious. The owner was there to greet us. We were a few minutes early to check in, but he was welcoming. Invited us to use veggies from the garden. The house had plenty of space for our group. The kitchen was nice and big. The faucet at the sink was very loose, but worked fine. Great front porch! The deck in the back seemed unstable with boards that were either damaged or needed more support. The pool and deck around it were nice. There is a great fire pit area. We didn’t use……

“The cabin was perfect. I loved the extra touches, like coffee pods and the shampoo and conditioner. We ended up not bringing our bikes due to rainy weather, but access to one of the storage sheds would be awesome for bike storage. ”
