"We’ve stayed at Camelback before, but this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. It took over 45 minutes just to check in, and even after that our room still wasn’t ready. We ended up waiting an additional 1.5 hours. After standing in one long line to check in, we then had to stand in another long line just to activate our room bands. From the time we arrived to the moment we actually stepped into our room, nearly 3 hours had passed. When we finally got inside, the room was completely unprepared. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in the bathrooms. There were no towels. Two of the bunk beds didn’t even have sheets. Other guests around us were dealing with the same issues, and some were so frustrated they decided to leave altogether. For all of this inconvenience, we were offered only a waived parking and resort fee totaling $75 — and that was it. For the amount of time wasted and the lack of basic readiness, this was extremely disappointing. "

"If you through Expedia, the hotel treats you horrible. The price is the same if you book through the hotel website maybe a very small difference but you get water park tickets you get kitchen ware and you get treated differently. I booked through Expedia and Didn’t get any water park tickets no kitchen culinary no pots no pans not even forks spoons or cups. When I called downstairs they said I booked through a third party and that is not included, the same thing they said when we arrived regarding the water park tickets. To top it off the room looked really old and out of date and management was even worse no customer service etiquette. When I spoke with Maya who claimed to be the manager on duty and explained it was my granddaughters birthday if there was anything she could to to make our experience better she said no I booked through a third party so talk with them. Expedia misleads you when they say this is a rare find cause you have water park access making it seem it’s included and then in fine print on another page it says surcharge. And the hotel sucks because they put rooms on Expedia because they obviously can’t get all the rooms rented but then they treat the paying customer like crap taking basic amenities like cups forks and dishes away but there’s a full kitchen in the room. Make that make sense! Overall horrible experience my granddaughters birthday was ruined, don’t even bother going there!"
