LOISIR HOTEL CLASSIC GARDEN KYOTO SANJO

"This was a very nice hotel in Kyoto. I came early, and they let me store my bags while I explored the city and where very nice and helpful with that. It was in walking distance to a former imperial palace, various gardens, etc. The room itself was very nice, good sized by Japanese standards, small(er) by American standards, but not as small as other hotels I stayed at, with a fridge and a working area, as well as some chairs, which a number of hotels I stayed at in Japan did not have. No microwave in the room (there were some in the lobby) but that is not unusual at Japanese hotels either, only one hotel I stayed at over 12 nights had a microwave."

"An ideal location with a fantastic breakfast to start your day. We were a family of 3 adults and the room was ideally laid out with 3 twin beds. Most hotels for 3 adults are ill-arranged with the the additional bed behind shoved in to fill the space but this was ideal and felt like a room for 3 adults. The entire staff was courteous and attentive. Overall a very comfortable stay and would definitely return if in the Kyoto area."

"The staff was so sweet and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet had everything you could ask for. This was our first time in Japan and we both agreed at the end of our stay that the next time we come back we will be staying here once again, but next time for longer."
