"This is a true lakeside experience! The boathouse is beautifully decorated with every detail thought out. The breakfast was lovely and the view is unmatched. The only negatives are that there is no AC but this is compensated by windows that let in a fabulous breeze from all 4 sides. This does allow the mosquitoes in but that's life on a quiet lake. Do stay here and swim or kayak on one of the nicest lakes in Italy. Highly recommended."

"This is one of the best locations I have stayed at. Stefano's house is perfectly situated on the beautiful Lake Lugano set within huge gardens with access to the lake which was fantastic. He has kayaks, canoes , mountain bikes to use free of charge, we did not want to leave. The house is comfortable and homely and is near to Pella. "What a lovely family holiday, great location and beautiful villa. The kids loved the canoe and swimming in the lake. The trip to the island was certainly worth doing and the restaurants and bars in Orta were great. We ate at Villa Crespi one day which is very close to the Villa less than a 5 minute walk! If you like the Michelin star experience its definitely worth booking before your holiday. Great holiday. "
